Our childcare facilities are separated into four different groups based on motor skills of the children.
We have staff that will interact with your child to help keep them happy and content. In each of the four nursery rooms, there is at least one certified caregiver who has had special instruction in being an effective primary care giver.
Hug and Hold
Room 114
- We provide childcare for children four weeks of age until they are crawling
- The nursery has swings, bouncing seats, activity seats, and beds
- Age appropriate toys are washed along with furniture, counters, and bedding after each service and/or use
Crawl and Climb
Room 115
- This area is for children who are crawling. They remain in this room until they are able to walk steadily independent of assistance.
- The room has age appropriate interactive toys, small chairs, push toys and rockers
- There are beds for those children who are able to sleep in a setting with lights
- To serve treats, such as Cheerios, there is a specially designed table for children to sit together
- Care is taken at the end of each service to sanitize surfaces of toys, chairs, tables, counters, etc.
Walkin’ and Talkin’
Room 118
- This nursery is for children who are able to walk steadily
- There are many diversions in this room including push toys, riding horses, climbing toys, blocks, kitchen set, etc.
- There is a special area with cribs for those children who need rest in a darker setting
- Treats of Cheerios may be served
Movin’ and Shakin’
Room 117
- This is a special room for those children who are around the age of two years and almost ready to ‘graduate’ to the preschool program
- The goal is to have some time for free play and some time when the children are asked to sit and listen. This aids with the child’s transition to the 2s and 3s area
- There are table and chairs, with toys for older children
- The children may color, use play dough, sit as a group to listen to stories and have group play activities
