It is our desire that your children flourish and grow in their knowledge of God and Biblical concepts as they grow physically. As a church we are doing our best to guide children in learning foundational truths that will help them as they develop into teens and young adults.
In addition to using structured teaching time, children are taught through music, interactive play, and at times, videos, missionary presentations, and through other special events.
Please note that in the Children’s Wing of Calvary Baptist Church we have staff that will interact with your child to help keep them happy and able to learn in a safe environment. All of the staff working with children has had background checks and there is at least one certified adult in each area that is knowledgeable of our church guidelines, has had instruction recognizing possible child abuse, and received some first aid training.
A check-in/check-out system has been put into place to aid in the safety, care, and teaching of your children. We ask that all adults leaving children in the care of our children’s wing staff remain in the building.
For the convenience of mothers, there is a room available for nursing mothers furnished with soft seating, soft lighting and a changing table (room 112).
